Chealwatch 5m club race at Beckley on 26^th July 2008

The start this year will at 6.00 pm over the same course as recent years through Beckley Woods. We will require about 10 marshals for the event plus a small group of helpers to mark out the course at 1.00 pm so we have time for a break before the race starts.

There will be the usual barbecue afterwards and this year we will have a Hog roast provided by The Whole Hog organization (an honesty box will be next to the hog roast rather than asking for a fee), we suggest you still bring your salads and other extras including refreshments. There will still be a barbecue available for those that are not Hog roast fans. There will be showers plus ample parking and there is plenty of room to camp and be ready for the Sunday morning stroll along Camber sands, followed by breakfast (bring bacon and eggs or your cornflakes)

Hopefully we will have the bouncy castle as well.

5.30 pm set out marshals and race briefing.

5.50 pm assemble for race
6.00 pm start of Race in Bixley lane

7.30 pm Hog roast available

8.30 pm Bouncy castle races.
